New Years
Posted by Garrek in Uncategorized on December 23rd, 2006
My Fiance and I are hosting our annual celebration of the end of another year. The party will be held at an address that can be obtained by contacting either myself or plurk via email or cell phone. The dress code will be VERY casual, but nudity is discouraged. The party is BYOB as usual, and the standard rules apply.
Please feel free to leave any comments here, I may even read them.

Saskatchewan joins the 21st century bandwagon

So we have finally joined the environmental bandwagon. I’m glad I’ll have a place to take my old computer equipment and I’m glad it will get recycled … what I’m not sure about is the cost … So long as it is reasonable like Alberta’s … it won’t be _that_ bad … I hope.
Selling Out …

The French government is off loading a lot of their historical buildings and estates to remove the burden they place on the French Taxpayers. Namely they want to reduce their budget deficit to less than 3%. BUDGET DEFICIT! In all honestly, they’re “Selling Out.” Seriously how can a nation sell off their national treasures to the highest bidder? It’s appauling.
Anyone have a hundred million or so they don’t know what to do with? May I suggest a nice Hotel in downtown Paris, which the Nazi’s used as their headquarters in France during WWII and in one of it’s ballrooms, the peace treaty that ended the vietnam war was signed? I say we buy it, move the building over here and sell off the real-estate there. Teach ‘em a good lesson about selling off national treasures. ![]()
