Whiney Nerd Blasts Wii

Ever wished you could get back at one of those annoying people on a mailing list or forum in a passive agressive manner using their own words? Something awful did just that, and the result is hilarious.

It’s market price will be US$249.99 (so probably CDN$299.99 even though it translated to CDN$279.29 at current exchange). It comes with one Remote, one nunchuck, and a disc with the five Nintedo sports games. The launch also includes 30 new titles1, 30 retro titles and “channels” (something akin to a web portal by the sounds of things … news, instructional videos, weather, etc) … my only question is how do I get my name on the list to get one? Check out the press release on Nintendo.com. “Additional information about the list of Virtual Console games and the pricing structure will be revealed in the coming weeks.”
1. Launch titles from Nintendo include: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, WarioWare: Smooth Moves, Excite Truck, Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Mario Strikers Charged, Big Brain Academy, and Battalion Wars II.

Steve Irwin died Monday after being stung through the heart by a Stingray while filming a documentary off the coast of Australia. I always thought it would be a reptile that would have got him. His insane antics and cavaliar disregard for personal safety will be missed.
