Sci-Fi’s Fall Line Up

Has anyone else looked at the upcoming lineup for the Sci-Fi channel? If not, let me illustrate the key points I noticed.

#1, of course, was mentioned by Delg a couple of days ago. Sci-fi is airing the Farscape Miniseries: Peacekeeper War. This will nicely end the series, I hope, and provide me some closure.

#2 is a Ringworld mini-series based on the acclaimed Larry Nivens’ series of novels of the same name. The mini-series follows a group of explorers who crash onto a massive artificial ring encircling a star and learn a secret which will forever alter the universe … sounds cool

and finally #3 is a live-action series based on the Witch Hunter Robin anime. The series will be produced by roy lee and doug davison (the ring) and follows the STN (in particular STNJ, the japanese branch of it), a secret organization that hunts down rogue witches in modern times. A new member of the organization, a young girl named Robin Sena, is a “craft user” (essentially a licensed witch) and uses her abilities to hunt down other witches. The anime series definitely seems capable of being re-imagined as an actual live-action series, and the premise has potential to be expanded upon. I’ll definitely have to catch this series on the torrent wave.
