“Winning isn’t the end of the world”

Hi all. Not quite my usual fair, but tonight I took in a Roughrider Football game (for free) and it was great. The Riders, for those of you who don’t know, have had like two winning seasons in recorded history, and by winning season I mean over 500. This evening they were playing the Winnipeg Blue Bombers who usually pound the crap out Saskatchewan, but not this time. No, all I have to say to all you Blue Bomber fans is, “YOUR TEAM SUCKS!”. Want proof: 51 to 17, against THE ROUGHRIDERS. How can you even go outside with such shame hanging around your neck?

Now a blow out is one thing, but I counted at least five times your team gave the Riders the ball, three of which were fumbles and two were thrown right to a Rider. I am used to seeing that type of football, but it is usually in the team I’m cheering for. Way to go Riders! You screwed up less for once, w00t!

You know what I mean right? First there was United Flight 93. Looked like a good idea at the time, but let’s face it I don’t think a forest was what they wanted to destroy. Then there was the guy who tried to light his shoes on fire. That worked out just a planned.

In any case, there was an attempted hijacking on Qantas Airlines Flight 1737 from Melbourne to Tasmania about 9 or 10 hours ago in Australia. Not only did the would-be hijacker, David Mark Robinson — an unemployed computer analyst, have to deal with a flight attendant who refused to get out of the way of the cockpit door, but during the altercation with the flight attendant, he was attacked from behind by one Derek Finlay, a former member of the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry. Needless to say the hijacking was a complete bust.

I’m back after the weekend, as promised! And even better, before Monday! In any case, I did things correctly now and I can post page without much effort now. I hacked the b2 framework into fitting my own. There are still many unused/unimplemented freatures of b2 that I could implement but haven’t bothered with yet. In any case, I’m back.
